PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sealing at least one outside section of an ink jet printing cartridge. SOLUTION: A method comprises stages such as a stage for providing a distribution element having an elliptical discharge orifice and a stage for distributing a sealing material at least on one outside section through said distribution element so as to form a barrier layer on at least one outside section. Also a method for connecting a flexible circuit 30 with an ink jet printing cartridge container 12 is provided. The method comprises a stage for providing a silane bonding auxiliary 50 on a part of the container 12, a stage for providing a bonding agent at least on a part of the silane coated section and a stage for bonding the flexible circuit 30 with the container 12 through the bonding agent.
