PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head which can make internal channel resistance constant and obtain stabilized jetting properties even when the precision of parts of the head is not required and the driving voltage applied to a piezoelec tric element member is not controlled, a printing apparatus equipped with the print head, and a method for controlling the temperature of the head. SOLUTION: A print head 32 is equipped with a heating means for heating an ink solution and a temperature controlling means for controlling heating temperature by the heating means to regulate the viscosity of the ink solution to obtain the optimum jet when the solution is ejected. By such a temperature controlling means, in each print head 32, when ink is ejected, since the temperature can be controlled to regulate the viscosity so that the optimum jet is obtained, the stable jet properties of the print head 32 can be secured. |
