PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make contractible a high-reliability slop collapse monitoring system by providing a collapse detecting sensor detecting the change of attitude of a case from a vertical attitude to an inclined attitude and transmitting radio waves. SOLUTION: The collapse detecting sensor 200 detecting the change of the case attitude from a vertical attitude to an inclined attitude is supported in the vertical attitude by a support 300 in the state before a collapse. When a slope 100 is collapsed and changed into a slope 102, the sensor 200 is inclined or overturned, then the sensor 200 transmits radio waves DN, and the radio waves DN are received by an alarm receiving device 400. A signal is transmitted to an observation station 504 through a cable 406 from the cable connection port 402 of the alarm receiving device 400, e.g. through a railway telephone network 502, and an alarm unit is operated to report the occurrence of a collapse. A luminous display unit 602 is lighted via a cable 408 from a cable connection port 404 to report a danger to the driver of a train.
