PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery mounting structure of an electric vehicle which is capable of securing the strength of a battery cover and the support rigidity of a rear seat, and light in weight. SOLUTION: In an electric vehicle, a plurality of batteries 6 are mounted on a rear floor 4. A box-shaped battery cover 8 to cover the whole upper area of the batteries 6 is fixed to the rear floor 4, and a reinforcement 9 is continuously fixed to each side wall part and an upper surface part of an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body of the battery cover 8. A rear seat 5 is arranged forward of a reinforcement 9 fixing part of the battery cover 8, and a rear end part of the rear seat 5 is mounted on the reinforcement 9. |
