PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-resolution electrophotographic photoreceptor which has a surface protective layer of an optically uniform state free of light scattering and bleeding and with which low surface energy, the mechanical characteristics, such as hardness and strength, and the electrical durability, such as arc discharge resistance, are made compatible and images having high image quality for a long period of time and a decrease of waste toner by using toners having excellent developability, transferability and cleanability. SOLUTION: The toners described above have toner particles prepd. by dispersing coloring agents into a binder resin and inorg. fine pulverulent body. The following toners are used for the toners described above: The shape coefft. values of the toners are 110<SF-1<=180 and 110<SF-2<=140. The ratio B/A of the value B obtd. by subtracting 100 from SF-2 and the value A obtd. by subtracting 100 from SF-1 is <=1.0. The relation between the specific surface area Sb (m<2> /cm<3> ) per unit volume measured by the BET method of the toners and the specific surface area St (m<2> /cm<3> ) per unit volume calculated from the weight average grain size when the toners are assumed to be truly spherical is 3.0<=Sb/St<=7.0 and Sb>=St×1.5+1.5.
|
