PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can surely detect that plural cover members are in a closed condition, which can be made compact and inexpensive by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with an open/close frame 55, a front cover 91, a safety switch 81, a first linking member 85 positioning a supporting shaft 86 on the right end of a guide hole 84 when the frame 55 is in the closed condition, and a second linking member 88 capable of turning around the shaft 86 and having an operating projection 89 pressing the part to be operated 82 of the switch 81 when the shaft 86 is positioned on the right end of the hole 84 and the cover 91 is in the closed condition. |
