<p>The present invention relates to a rheo-virtual flight simulator for helicopters which is used for training and for developing piloting and air-fight techniques. This simulator comprises a group of two to eight helicopters which are each provided with a personal computer. All personal computers define together a local area network, while one of said computers is provided with a video projector and is used as a dispatcher board. All helicopters are raised on a hinged pair and are connected to six electromechanical lifting devices so that the body of each helicopter is capable of rotation in the three axes. A global virtual field is generated using each personal computer of each helicopter as well as the dispatcher personal computer. The dispatcher projects a global virtual image on a visualisation screen. The helicopter controls are further connected to the electromechanical lifting devices and to the personal computers.</p> |
