发明名称 CATALYST BASED ON MOLYBDENUM AND ITS USE IN ISOMERIZATION OF n-PARAFFIN
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject catalyst usable in the isomerizatin reaction of n-paraffin as it is without requiring special pretreatment by specifying a surface area and a mol ratio of molybenum and silicon. SOLUTION: A catalyst having a surface area of 20-400 m2/g is obtained by dissolving a soluble molybenum salt in an aq. soln. containing one kind of a basic compd. selected from ammonium hydroxides represented by R1R2R3R4 N+OH- (wherein R1-R4 groups have each a 1-7C aliphatic group) and adding one kind of a silicon compd. capable of forming SiO2 by hydrolysis to the obtained soln. in such an amt. that a mol ratio (Mo/Si) of molybdenum to silicon becomes larger than 0.2 and, if necessary, adding an aliphatic alcohol thereto and gelling the resulting mixture to bake the obtained gel at 500-600 deg.C in air. By this constitution, the catalyst can be used in the isomerization reaction of n-paraffin as it is.
