<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video audio multiplex recorder where an audio signal can easily be rewritten. SOLUTION: A control section 41 generates an indexing table between a unit video block and a unit audio block, and generates a control section S41-2 on the basis of this indexing table. a multiplexer 15 outputs multiplexed data S15 of a data structure where each unit video block corresponds one to one to each audio block on the basis of the control signal S41-2. Thus, the cross reference between the audio data and the video data is made clear and audio data can easily be inserted. Moreover, since a data structure that is not discontinuous at an overwrite start part of the audio data is formed on the basis of the indexing table, the audio data can be inserted without causing an abnormal noise in the case of reproduction so as to allow audio edit with high quality.</p> |
