PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for digital image data which can finely customize the intensity of sharpness processing in accordance with a printing magnification, a kind of film, exposing conditions of an image and the like and to meet the preference of a user, and can output with good operability an image of sharpness in response to the preference of the user. SOLUTION: The foregoing problem is solved by having an image processing unit for performing image processing including sharpness enhancement processing to image data supplied from an image data supplying source, and setting means for customizing the intensity of the sharpness enhancement processing in response to at least one of the conditions associated with image processing. |
