PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card issuing device capable of surely preventing any illegal card issue. SOLUTION: When the casing of the card issuing device A is not dismantled, an alternate type switch 12 on the lower assembly side is continuously depressed by a protrusion 10 on the upper assembly 8 side so that power supply for backup to a memory 13 in which issue information related with the card issue is stored and held can be continuously performed. Also, when the casing is dismantled, the depression of the switch 12 is released by the protrusion 10 so that the power supply for backup to the memory 13 can be interrupted. Thus, it is possible to erase the issue information stored and held in the memory 13. |
