PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber holder for preventing a coated optical fiber part from breaking during transportation or transfer working of the optical fiber and also for preventing the optical fiber from dropping from an optical fiber housing casing or a tool. SOLUTION: This optical fiber device is provided with the fiber holder 12, having a hole 13 for housing the optical fiber 4 and a fiber stopper 15 having a projecting part 14, so that the optical fiber 4 will not fall off from the fiber holder 12.
