PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood sugar level measuring apparatus capable of continuously measuring a blood sugar level without a large burden of a subject. SOLUTION: The blood sugar level measuring apparatus comprises: a conductive gel 3 including a PBS buffering solution for adjusting a pH value so as to efficiently react a glucose oxidase and an enzyme, iontophoresis electrodes 4, 4 for making a current flow into a skin through the conductive gel 3, extracting a glucose and guiding it into the conductive gel 3, a photo-counter 7 for measuring strength of chemiluminescence generated by carrying out a luminol reaction of the luminol and a hydrogen peroxide, which is produced by the glucose taken in the conductive gel 3 and the glucose oxidase in presence of oxygen, by catalysis of a peroxidase, and a calculating means for finding a quantity of the glucose based on a measured value by the photo-counter 7, and calculating the blood sugar level of the subject based on the found quantity of the glucose.
