PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for surely detecting any pin hole or defective sealing of a sealed package containing such contents as liquid, etc. SOLUTION: A top pressure welding belt 3 is allocated so as to shift at a fixed rate synchronized with a conveyer belt 1 on the way of shifting upwards the conveyer belt 1 and then pressure weld to the top of a package 15. Set a pressurization means 16 pressurizing the conveyer belt 1 upwards with a given pressure on the bottom of the conveyer belt 1 section faced with the top pressure welding belt 3. Additionally set two color detecting sensors 18/19 on each side of the conveyer belt and the top pressure welding belt, respectively. Thus color of the contents compressed between both belts 1 and 3, leaked out from the package 15 and then adhered to both belts 1/3 will be detected by each color detecting sensor 18 or 19 to find defective goods.
