PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor in a freezing and refrigerating device and an air conditioning system such as a refrigerator and a show case capable of reducing noise by damping pressure pulsation generated in a compression chamber by an absorption muffler effectively. SOLUTION: Since a muffler cover 20 has a simple shape like a flat plate, its deformation when it is molded is reduced, and it adheres to a muffler main body 19 sufficiently and closely. Consequently, pressure pulsation scarcely leaks from a connection part of the muffler main body 19 and the muffler cover 20 to provide silencing effect that the absorption muffler 18 has sufficiently so as to reduce noise effectively.
