METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING KNOWLEDGE BASE OF SPECIALIST SYSTEM BASED ON KNOWLEDGE ENGINEERING

PURPOSE: A method for constructing a knowledge base is provided to enhance a performance of a system continuously by completing a knowledge base through updating and maintaining a knowledge base gradually. CONSTITUTION: In a knowledge obtaining method of a case based specialist system including a knowledge base for storing rule data having a decision index, condition data, a cornerstone case index as a tree structure, a database for storing decision data linked with the rule data by the decision index and cornerstone case data linked with the rule data by the cornerstone case index, and an interface for transmitting/receiving data to a user terminal, input case data are received from the user terminal through the interface(S21). An inference is performed in accordance with the input case data(S23). A position for storing new rule data in the knowledge base is decided(S29). The new rule data are created by constituting result data and condition data(S31). The new rule data are verified(S35).
