PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device, which effectively uses light discharged from a light-emitting element and which can emit light with high luminance. SOLUTION: The light emitting element is mounted on a cup-like part formed of a substrate and a casing. The cup-like part is filled with a sealing member constituted of light transmissible resin. A layer, formed of a material with a refractive index smaller than the sealing material, is arranged between the sealing member and the surface of the casing. |
