<p>New organic tin compounds comprising groups of which one is an alkyl group with a perfluorinated extremity, which confer a non-wettability property to vitreous surfaces and also synthetic, metallic, plastic etc surfaces. The invention claims compounds of general formula :- R3Sn(CH2)n(CF2)mCF3 (I) - in which R is alkynyl ; n is 2 or more ; m is 1 or more. Independent claims are also included for the preparation of these compounds and also precursors and derivatives of these, compositions containing them, treatment of substrates and the treated substrates.</p> |
