PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus capable of effectively discharging wastewater drained from a sink and capable of washing a piping without detaching a trap pipe at the time of washing the piping. SOLUTION: A discharge pipe 6 of the garbage treatment apparatus body 2 is connected to the trap pipe 7 and the trap pipe 7 is connected to a laterally drawing pipe. A drain hose 17 from the sink 4 is connected to the discharge pipe 6 on the way of the pipeline thereof in a freely detachable manner and a connection pipe 15, to which a high pressure hose 21 for washing downstream piping can be connected, is provided so as to be directed to the inflow port 7a of the trap pipe 7 in a communication state. The axis L1 of the downstream end 6a of the discharge pipe 6 and the axis L2 of the connection pipe 15 are set to a concentric state and the diameter of the discharge pipe 6 is made almost same to that of the connection pipe 15.
