PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas removing material excellent in removability of malodor gas or harmful gas at a low temperature in the presence of steam and capable of recovering the removability by heating at a relatively low temperature. SOLUTION: The gas removing material comprises an inorganic compound, which contains at least one kind of a metal selected from metals of groups IIa and IIIa, and the gas removing capacity thereof under a 25 deg.C/60 RH% condition is 1×10-2 mmol/g or more. The regeneration of the gas removing material after the removal of gas is possible and the removing capacity restoring ratio thereof is 50% or more. |
