A microwave oven is capable of cooking food using steam produced in a cooking cavity (11). The microwave oven includes a cabinet (10) in which a cooking cavity (11) is defined. A microwave heating unit (18) radiates microwaves into the cooking cavity (11). A steaming unit (30) is provided on a predetermined position of the cabinet (10) to define a cooking space, which is partitioned from the cooking cavity (11). A steam guide passage (50) guides steam produced in the cooking cavity (11), into the steaming unit (30). <IMAGE>
