PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize metadata associated with an image file. SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus 1, a mount data 200 is started and an mount image 100 is displayed. When selecting one from a plurality of thumb-nail pasting areas AR1 displayed on the mount image 100 for imaging operation, the picked-up image data is associated with the information related to the photographed time such as a photographing time and date, location information, or the like. If the information related to the photographed time satisfies the image pasting condition information which is set in the thumb-nail pasting areas AR1, the thumb-nail image of the picked-up image data is pasted onto the selected thumb-nail pasting areas AR1.
