PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method capable of minimizing the lowering of productivity and capable of obtaining a thermoplastic resin press-molded product excellent in transfer properties and having high quality appearance. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the thermoplastic resin press-molded product having high quality appearance is characterized in that the temperature (Th) of a mold at the time of heating is set so as to become higher than the heat deformation temperature of a thermoplastic resin to be pressed by 0-100°C when a thermoplastic resin sheet is press-molded and the temperature (Tc) of the mold at the time of ejection after cooling is set so as to become lower than the heat deformation temperature of the thermoplastic resin by 0-100°C (wherein, Th>Tc).
