PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack having satisfactory productivity and a protective cover which has satisfactory productivity and is used for manufacturing the battery pack. SOLUTION: The battery pack comprises a plurality of batteries 10, a bus bar 50 for connecting adjoining batteries, an electrical insulating side plate 60 for supporting the bus bar 50, a fastening member 92 for fastening the bus bar 50 to an output terminal 12 arranged at the side of the battery 10, and an opening part 82 that is freely openable into which the fastening member 92 is inserted, and furthermore, comprises an electrical insulating protective cover 80 arranged so as to cover the side plate 60. When the bus bar 50, which is supported by the side plate 60, is fastened to the output terminal 12 arranged at the side of the battery 10 by the fastening member 92 inserted, the opening part 82 is closed.
