<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC module and a noncontact IC card, which prevent breakage of an IC chip. <P>SOLUTION: The IC module having the IC chip the terminal surface of which is electrically connected to an antenna substrate through a connecting means comprises a reinforcing plate for reinforcing the IC chip on the surface different from the terminal surface of the IC chip.
