<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a lens provided with an antireflection film, which is high in durability and high in moisture blocking capability. <P>SOLUTION: A plastic lens has the antireflection film made by forming a hard coat layer directly on a base material, wherein the antireflection film is a multilayer film comprising a low-refractive index film or a middle-refractive index film and high-refractive index films, and at least one of the high-refractive index films is formed of a layer consisting of a simple compound of silicon nitride. By adopting the layer consisting of the simple compound of silicon nitride as one of the multilayer film of the antireflection film, the plastic lens which takes advantage of characteristics of amorphous silicon having high durability, can suppress the effect of ultraviolet ray and moisture to the lens base material and the other layers and has high heat resistance and light resistance can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
