PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary joint capable of preventing a trouble of leakage due to poor operation of a floating seat by preventing the intrusion of coolant liquid into a sliding portion. SOLUTION: A casing 1 has a cover 51 for covering the outer periphery of a rotation preventing pin 23 including a flange portion 22. The cover 51 has one opening portion 51a closed in the state of abutting on and being fixed to the casing 1 and another opening portion 51b closed while leaving a slight gap h between the end outer peripheral face of the floating seat 2 on the side of a rotor shaft 3 and itself.
