PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for removing stuck material on a discharging hole in a ladle, with which the stuck slag on the discharging hole in the molten metal ladle mounted on a carrier can be removed without damaging a brick and also, the operating efficiency of the apparatus can be improved by eliminating the restriction of a locomotive. SOLUTION: In the method for removing the stuck material on the discharging hole 32 in the molten metal ladle mounted on the carrier 30, a process for detecting the height of the upper surface of the discharging hole with limit switches 10a, 10b in a discharging hole height detecting instrument to match the discharging hole to the height of a slag crushing device, a process for interposing both side parts of the discharging hole with a discharging hole clamping device and a process for removing the stuck material on the discharging hole with the slag crushing device, are provided. |
