ROLLING GUIDE DEVICE, ITS MANUFACTURING, METHOD AND DRIVE INCLUDING IT

PURPOSE: To provide a rolling guide device preventing deformation of a block even with the application of great moments to a rail, and eliminating the need to change the shapes of the block and the rail even if the machined positions of a roller rolling surface and a load roller rolling surface are changed. CONSTITUTION: The rolling guide device includes the rail 10 formed with the roller rolling surface 11 along its longitudinal direction; the block 20 with the load roller rolling surface 27 formed in an opening 25 formed of a through hole; and a plurality of balls 70 aligned and stored between the rolling surface 11 and the rolling surface 27 and circulating according to the relative movements of the rail 10 and the block 20. The cross section of the rail 10 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction and the cross section of the opening 25 have geometrically similar longitudinal shapes. The block 20 is of the box type with high rigidity. The angles of contact of the balls 70 can be freely varied by changing only the positions of the rolling surface 11 and the rolling surface 27 which are machined on one kind of block 20 and one kind of rail 10.
