PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient door phone system capable of achieving support for a first visitor not recorded on a common data base. SOLUTION: Once a caller depresses a calling button 140, a camera 110 photographs a visitor and generates a face image data of the visitor at a face image recognition part 211. An identification information reader 120 reads identification information presented by the visitor. A person specifier 261 collates a common database and specifies the visitor using face image data or identification information. When the visitor is not recorded in the common database and is not specified; an additional information acquiring part 232 outputs from a speaker 130 a question inquiring personal information and visiting object of the visitor, converts an answer (additional information) to the question from sound information to character information, and further displays on a monitor 270, whereby a dweller can be informed, even if he or she is the first visitor, about his or her personal information and visiting object.
