PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output circuit and a semiconductor integrated circuit device capable of outputting levels confirming to the respective standards. SOLUTION: An output circuit (10) includes a differential output (11), current sources (13, 14), load resistors (16, 17), and a control unit (19); and performs balanced transmission after converting the input differential signals to output signals having different interface levels. The differential output (11) amplifies and outputs the input differential signals. The current sources (13, 14) supply current to the differential output (11). The load resistors (16, 17) are connected to the differential output (11). Based on the applied signals, the control unit (19) sets the current values of the current sources (13, 14) and the resistance values of the load resistors (16, 17). The output circuit (10) further includes a level detector (12) for detecting the output level of each output signal.
