PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector provided for a semiconductor element-housing package for housing a semiconductor element and a circuit board connected to the semiconductor element, capable of stably transmitting a high-frequency signal, and attachable and detachable by simple push/pull operations. SOLUTION: This coaxial connector is inserted into a casing 15 of the package for housing a semiconductor element, and used for transmitting a signal from an external apparatus to a semiconductor in the package for housing a semiconductor element. The coaxial connector 1a includes: a cylindrical insulator 2; a center conductor 3 inserted into the center axis of the insulator 2; and a housing 4 covering a side surface of the insulator 2 and housing the center conductor 3 led out from an end surface of the insulator 2. The coaxial connector 1a is characterized in that the diameter of at least a part of the center conductor 3 housed in the housing 4 is increased or decreased as compared with the diameter of the center conductor 3 at the end surface of the insulator 2.
