SHEETLIKE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric exhibiting excellent abrasion characteristic, wiping properties and filter performance that are not attained by an extra fine fiber. SOLUTION: The sheetlike material is obtained by lamination of one or more of extra fine nonwoven fabrics (A) having a number-average single fiber fineness of 1×10-8-2.3×10-3dtex and one or more of fabrics (B). At least one surface of the sheetlike material is composed of the extra fine nonwoven fabric (A) and the fabric (B) comprises a fiber having a single fiber fineness of 1×10-8-2.3×10-3dtex and a fiber having a single fiber fineness of 0.1-10.0 dtex.
