PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope vegetation protecting method attaining slope protection by vegetation over a long period of time without needing a large quantity of fossil energy (nonreproducible energy) for transportation. SOLUTION: A method for protecting a slope by vegetation is carried out by laying a vegetation net 14 on the ground surface of the slope. A net to which seeds and fertilizer are held is used as the vegetation net 14. A set mixing amount of artificial zeolite is dispersed on a vegetation net laying predetermined slope 12, and a surface layer is stirred and leveled to form a zeolite mixed soil layer 16.
