The recessed lighting device also includes a plaster ring that includes a plaster plate that has an opening therethrough. The plaster ring also includes a body extending substantially orthogonally from a perimeter of the opening towards the electrical component housing. The recessed lighting device further includes an illuminated panel that includes an electrical component assembly inserted through the opening and into the cavity, where the electrical component assembly is positioned within the electrical component housing.

1. An electrical component housing for a recessed lighting device, comprising:
a first horizontally rotatable wing; a second horizontally rotatable wing; a first hanger bar attached to the first horizontally rotatable wing; and a second hanger bar attached to the second horizontally rotatable wing, wherein the first hanger bar and the second hanger bar are configured to couple the electrical component housing to a support structure, wherein the first hanger bar is rotatable along with the first horizontally rotatable wing relative to a side panel of the electrical component housing.
