PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Lundell type motor capable of suppressing intrusion of foreign matter (and an assembling method therefor).SOLUTION: An elastic annular seal member 9 is housed in a seal housing section 2b provided on the axial outside of the bearing holding part 2a of a housing 2, and the seal member 9 adheres to one end side of a rotating shaft 6 and the seal housing section 2b, thus constituting a seal structure in a Lundell type motor (motor M). With regard to the mounting of this seal member 9, a cap is mounted to cover a coupling hole 6a provided in the rotating shaft 6, and mounting of the seal member 9 on the seal housing section 2b is carried out along the outer peripheral surface of the cap. The seal member 9 is mounted while discharging the air accumulated in the seal housing section 2b, by an air discharge path provided in the cap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
