PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample holding container which allows a biological sample with a relatively high volume to be simply immobilized in a container and to be supplied for microscopic observation as it is.SOLUTION: A sample holding container has a container body 1 which can hold a biological sample S and solution, and a lid member 2 that is movably disposed inside the container body and holds the biological sample with the inner surface of the container body to immobilize the biological sample, where at least part of the container body and the lid member comprises an optically observable optical member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
