PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a high strength two phase stainless seamless steel pipe excellent in low temperature toughness.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a high strength two phase stainless seamless steel pipe having a structure having a ferrite phase and the balance austenite phase or martensite phase or both, where in manufacturing a seamless steel pipe with a predetermined shape by conducting hot working after heating a steel raw material, maximum arrival temperature of the steel raw material during heating and hot working is set at 1000°C to δ, which is a temperature with δ ferrite phase single phase during a temperature rising process, and time when the temperature of the steel raw material becomes (δ-100°C) or more is set at 3600 s or less and further final working of the hot working is conducted at 1200°C or less as an outer surface temperature of the steel raw material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
