The present invention relates to a beany smell-masked mutant bean, and to a production method thereof. The mutant bean of the present invention is deficient in lipoxygenase 1, 2, and 3, thereby bringing reduction in production costs and providing high preference as the beany smell-masked mutant bean. In addition, the mutant bean also ensures higher crop yield than existing original varieties and other mutants.
