<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height control device of a support rod of simple structure, capable of surely working, having good load resistance and suitable for supporting heavy goods. SOLUTION: Engagement holes 18, 20 are bored in plural portions in the vertical direction in an outer peripheral wall of a bottomed cylinder 10 provided on a base member and pointed in the vertical direction, and a release member 18 is provided on the upper end part. Two substantially triangular locking pieces 15 are pivoted on the lower end part of the support rod 7 inserted in the cylinder 10, a spring 17 is stretched between the pieces, second corner parts 15a of both locking pieces 15 are locked in the lower edges of the engagement holes 19, 20, whereby when both locking pieces 15 abut on the release member 18, the energizing direction of the spring 17 is reversed so that the second corner parts 15a of both locking pieces 15 are held in close to each other.</p> |
