PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a zirconia globular sintered compact characterized in that zirconia slurry containing stabilizing agent is spray granulated and baked into the globular zirconia sintered compact containing stabilizing agent, the mean diameter of which is >=100 μm, the mean theoretical density is >=95% and the mean Vickers hardness is >=900. SOLUTION: The zirconia globular sintered compact is excellent in abrasion resistance, durability, and recycling performance because of denseness in spite of being obtained by spray granulating method, is useable as a dispersing and crushing media for high speed stirring mill or grinding media for cleaning, grinding, mat finishing, or peening by spraying them on a surface of a metal, electronic, or resin product. |
