摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroplating method by which R-Fe-B based permanent magnets having plating films exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance even though they are thin can stably be mass-produced. SOLUTION: In this electroplating method in which a plurality of pieces of R-Fe-B based permanent magnets composed of a main phase and a plurality of crystal phases of grain boundary phases having corrosion potential baser than that of the main phase are simultaneously subjected to electroplating, the individual magnets are disposed in a separated state, and film deposition is performed at an average film deposition rate of >=0.1 μm/min from the start of the plating until a plating film with a film thickness of 0.5 μm is deposited on the surfaces of the magnets.
