PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for an intravenous olfaction test for evaluating the olfaction of a human being objectively. SOLUTION: The instrument is provided with a means for measuring the time required for intravenously injecting a venous smelling origin into a subject, electrodes attached on the forehead of the subject to receive the brain wave from the subject, a means for amplifying the brain wave received by the electrodes, a filter for extracting the waves of some 30 Hz or more from the amplified brain wave, and a recording means for recording the time required for intravenously injecting the venous smelling origin into the subject and the brain wave processed by the filter. |
