This invention relates to an arrangement for attaching a load carrier bar (8) to a support foot (1), being in its turn adapted to be attached to a vehicle roof. The attaching arrangement is characterised in that the load carrier bar (8) and the support foot (1) are fixedly connected to one another, which fixed connection is break-able in a predetermined load condition, such as in a collision, a relative motion between the attachment of the bar (8) being allowed. The attaching arrangement also comprises means for decelerating said relative motion. |
