PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce sounds emitted from fuel pipes for supplying a high pressure fuel. SOLUTION: A fuel chamber 11 is formed in a joint bracket 9 to be connected to a fuel injection valve, where the ends of the fuel pipes 7G, 7H in the upstream and the downstream are alternately crossed to be connected to each other in communication so that the mutual axes of the pipes 7G, 7H are offset in the direction of a fuel outlet 10 of the fuel chamber 11. Thus, compression waves of the fuel caused by the fuel injection of the fuel injection valve are repeated to collide with the outer walls of the pipes 7G, 7H before propagating to the pipes 7G, 7H or to reflect at the terminals of the pipes at adjacent joints and additionally propagate to the side of a compression wave generation source and reflect at the terminals, whereby a pressure fluctuation is greatly reduced and sounds emitted from the fuel injection pipes can be reduced. |
