PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic matter removing apparatus which when the amount of magnetic foreign matter attracted by a magnet reaches a specified amount, is capable of automatically removing the magnetic foreign matter from the magnet. SOLUTION: This device for attracting and removing magnetic foreign matter contained in any of various kinds of powder, etc., is provided with: at least a device main body (2) having a treatment chamber (3) for passing any of various kinds of power, etc., through the chamber (3) and attracting and removing such magnetic foreign matter in the powder or the like; at least an attraction unit which is placed in the device main body (2) while extending through the treatment chamber (3), and consists of plural attraction sections (5) each having a cylindrical casing (501), a magnet (502) freely movable inside the cylindrical casing (501) and a detection probe (504) placed at a point adjacent to the cylindrical casing (501); a movement means for moving the magnet (502) in each of the attraction sections (5); and a controller (13) for controlling operation of the whole device and also, at least operating the above movement means accordingly to an electric signal transmitted from the detection probe (504), in a linked manner. |
