The present invention relates to an appliance for chopping meat. This appliance comprises a dish-shaped body 1 the bottom of which is made up of a removable plate 3 including perforations 18 each fitted with cutting tabs 19 projecting towards the inside of the dish 1, whilst a paddle 4 including an edge 14 fitted with teeth 15 bears elastically on the perforated plate 3 and, as it rotates, allows a passage for the cutting tabs 19 between the teeth 15 of the paddle 4. This appliance makes it possible to chop any type of meat such as, for example, beef, veal or poultry. <IMAGE>
