The present invention relates to a tackle with a dead fish for fishing for carnivorous fishes. The tackle, of the type including at least one leader 7 fitted with at least one hook 8, is noteworthy in that the said leader 7 is chosen as a function of the length of the said dead fish from amongst a plurality of leaders of different lengths, the said leaders being capable of being connected at their two ends 11 and 12 by a loop mounting in a loop on the one hand to the rest 2 of the tackle and on the other hand to the hook 8. <IMAGE>
