Tension compensation for the drive belt of a stone-working apparatus

For a stone-working machine, in which a swing frame carries a tool block and is driven by means of unbalanced masses (flyweights), in order to suppress undesired transverse vibrations, the tension exerted on the swing frame by the drive belts is compensated by swing bearings capable of being prestressed, with which a counter-tension of approximately the same size can be applied to the swing frame.
