PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reacting magnesium with methanol in a controlled manner. SOLUTION: The magnesium is used in a piece form in the method for producing magnesium methanolate by reacting the magnesium with the methanol. Thereby, the magnesium methanolate is obtained in a methanolic solution or in a solid form with a high quality and good yield. |
